Local sources in Ghazni province reported that parts of Waeez district were targeted in airstrikes by unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) earlier today. The sources added that the drones were observed patrolling the area since early morning.
Local reports suggest that the attacks may have targeted facilities associated with the TTP group, but the exact nature of the objectives and details of the operation remain unclear. A former provincial council member also confirmed that airstrikes took place today.
