Ethnic cleansing continues; this time at Kabul University; 15 professors dismissed.
Reliable sources from Kabul University have confirmed that the Taliban group has dismissed about 15 Persian-speaking professors and administrators from the university’s Faculty of Journalism.
According to sources, this action was taken without issuing an official letter and only through a phone call during this month.
Sources say that the faculty management has been instructed that these individuals are not allowed to attend the university and do not sign attendance records.
According to reports, all of the dismissed individuals are veteran Persian-speaking professors and administrators who worked at Kabul University during the republican era.
Sources have not provided further details about the identities and reasons for the dismissal of these individuals, and the Taliban Ministry of Higher Education has not yet reacted to this.
This action is being evaluated as a continuation of the wave of dismissals of non-Pashtun professors in educational institutions.
In recent months, the Taliban have removed experienced professors from several government universities and replaced them with people without expertise.
