Explosion in Kabul Over Parwan-e-Se Area.
Residents of Kabul reported an explosion in the capital on Monday, June 29, 2026 (8 Saratan 1405), followed by a large fire and a thick column of smoke over the area.
According to eyewitnesses, the explosion occurred in Parwan-e-Se area of Kabul’s Fourth Security District and was powerful enough to be heard in nearby areas.
The cause of the explosion and possible casualties remain unknown. No official details have been released.
Images from the scene showed heavy smoke rising from the area, but the extent of damage has not been confirmed.
Taliban officials have not yet commented on the incident.
