Former MP’s Wife Killed in Kandahar; Gunmen Target Her.
Unknown gunmen in Kandahar city killed the wife of Fariba Ahmadi Kakar, a former member of the House of Representatives.
Local sources have confirmed that the incident took place on Tuesday, September 16, in the first security district of Kandahar city.
The victim of the attack is Fariba Ahmadi Kakar’s wife, Dawood Shah Kakar, who had returned to Afghanistan from Canada just a few days ago.
The gunmen opened fire on him and shot him on the spot.
It is said that Fariba Ahmadi Kakar sought refuge in Canada after the fall of Afghanistan and is now living in that country with her family.
The motive and perpetrators of the murder have not yet been clarified, and local authorities have not yet provided an official response.
