
German Interior Minister: Deportation of Afghan criminals must be systematic and continuous.
The German Interior Ministry has announced that senior officials from the country will travel to Kabul in October 2025.
The purpose of this trip is to negotiate directly with the Taliban about the deportation of Afghan refugees;
People who have been identified in Germany as “criminals and dangerous individuals.”
According to these reports, Germany plans to carry out the deportation process through regular and commercial flights, not charter flights.
This measure is in line with the intensification of German immigration policies and an effort to continuously return people whose presence in the country is considered dangerous by German authorities.
Alexander Dobrind, German Interior Minister, has emphasized: “The deportation of Afghan refugees must be systematic and continuous. That is why we are going to Kabul to negotiate this process directly with the Taliban.”
Previously, two deportation flights were conducted with Qatar’s mediation, in the last case, 81 Afghan migrants were returned to Kabul from Germany in July 2025.
