Hamburg, Germany, celebrates the National Day of the Uzbek Language.
Tomorrow, Sunday, a ceremony will be held in Hamburg, Germany, to mark the National Day of the Uzbek Language.
This event has been organized by a group of educators, elders, and youth from the Uzbek community living in Hamburg. In addition to discussing the status of the Uzbek language, the program will also examine part of the history and development of this language.
As part of this gathering, traditional Uzbek music, an exhibition of Uzbek national costumes, and various and delicious dishes of this culture will also be displayed.
This program is an opportunity for the Uzbek immigrant community in Germany to represent its linguistic and cultural identity and establish cultural ties with other communities.
The Uzbek language is one of the most widely spoken languages in Afghanistan after Persian, Dari, and Pashto; according to reports, more than ten million Afghans speak this language.
This language has a distinct place in the northern regions of the country, and Uzbek cultural activists have emphasized the need to expand and promote this language in various programs.
