Iran: Any Attack Will Be Treated as Full-Scale War.
A senior Iranian official has stated that Tehran considers any attack against the country as “a full-scale war” and is on full alert.
He emphasized that Iran will respond to any threat or attack, whether limited or extensive, with the “harshest possible response.”
These remarks come as reports indicate a group of U.S. warships, including an aircraft carrier, are moving toward the Middle East and Iranian waters. U.S. President Donald Trump said that a “large armada” is heading toward Iran, but he expressed hope to avoid military confrontation.
According to media reports, the deployment of these forces may be part of U.S. political and military pressure to deter Iran from military actions or advancing its nuclear program.
In response, Iranian officials have adopted more aggressive positions, insisting on a strong and comprehensive retaliation in case of any attack.
Additionally, the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that Iranian forces are on full alert and “their fingers are on the trigger.”
