Kabul First District Explosion; National mobilization Front Claims Responsibility for Attack.
The National mobilization Front has issued a statement claiming responsibility for the explosion in Kabul’s First Security District this evening.
The group’s statement said that “National mobilization Front fighters carried out a targeted operation in the vicinity of Kabul’s First District around 8:30 PM on Monday, October 20, 2025.”
According to the front, the target of the operation was “a prominent commander of the terrorist group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and one of the Kabul-based Taliban commanders,” but it did not provide further details.
The Taliban have not yet responded to the incident or the National mobilization Front’s claim.
