Kabul residents report heavy Taliban tank traffic.
Residents of Kabul reported seeing a large convoy of Taliban tanks and armored vehicles on the roads of the capital on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
According to eyewitnesses, this military convoy passed through different areas of the city, causing concern and curiosity among citizens.
A Kabul resident told the media that around evening, a convoy of Taliban military tanks was also moving from Kabul Airport towards Shahid Crossroads, and its final destination is not clear.
According to him, the number of armored vehicles in this convoy was more than usual and Taliban forces were moving in full readiness.
Reports indicate that these military movements may be in line with increasing Taliban readiness to reinforce the Bagram base and rebuild military capacities in that area.
Some local sources say that the Taliban have intensified military activities around Bagram in recent days, although officials have not commented on this yet.
