
National Resistance Front Claims Attack on Taliban Convoy.
The media office of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF) has announced that its fighters killed the deputy head of Taliban intelligence and two bodyguards of the district commander in a roadside explosion in Manorah district of Kunar province.
According to the statement, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at around 2:00 p.m., NRF guerrilla forces planted an improvised explosive device (IED) on a small bridge in the Baluro area of Manorah district, targeting a Taliban convoy.
The statement said that while the main targets were the district commander and the provincial intelligence chief, the explosion occurred as another Taliban vehicle passed by, killing the deputy intelligence chief and two bodyguards, and severely wounding the driver.
The main vehicle carrying senior Taliban officials managed to escape.
The NRF added that none of its fighters were harmed during the operation and that the unit safely returned to its base after successfully completing the mission.
