People of Warduj: Qari Fasihuddin has seized our pastures.

Local sources in Badakhshan say that Qari Fasihuddin Fitrat, the chief of staff of the Taliban army, has usurped more than two hundred acres of land in the Warduj district of the province.

According to these sources, the seized lands are located in the pasture area of the village of Strep and are considered the property of the local people.

Local witnesses add that Qari Fasihuddin has seized these lands since the spring of this year and surrounded them with barbed wire.

According to the people of the area, these lands are connected to his personal house and have been preventing the local people from using their traditional pastures since then.

Taliban officials have not yet reacted to this.

Previously, officials of this group in different parts of Afghanistan were repeatedly accused of usurping public lands and private properties, but in most cases, no investigation or accountability has been carried out.
