Qalibaf’s Sharp Warning to Trump.

Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, reacted sharply to Donald Trump’s remarks about oil prices and warned about the consequences of the continuation of war in the region.

In a message he wrote that Trump had previously claimed oil prices would not increase significantly, but now that the price of oil has risen he says the situation will soon be corrected.

Qalibaf emphasized that if war and military tensions continue in this way, their consequences for the energy market will be very heavy.

According to him, in such conditions not only could oil export routes be closed, but even the ability to produce oil would face serious danger, and the global energy market could encounter an unprecedented crisis.

The Speaker of Iran’s parliament also warned that the continuation of these conflicts threatens not only the interests of one country, but could seriously damage the economies of the region and the world.

He strongly criticized the policies of Benjamin Netanyahu and said that pursuing these approaches has sacrificed the interests of many countries to “dangerous illusions” and is pushing the region toward a broader crisis; a crisis that, alongside rising military tensions, has also placed the global oil market in a state of instability.
