Rahmatullah Andar: Taliban leader in complete intellectual isolation.

Rahmatullah Andar, former spokesman for the National Security Council, says that Taliban leader Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada is now in complete intellectual isolation and only a limited circle of loyal people are in contact with him.

According to Andar, all political and religious power in the Taliban is concentrated in the hands of Haibatullah, and none of the group’s officials dare to oppose or even consult with him independently.

He added that members of the so-called “Qatar Group” within the Taliban believe that the group’s leader ignores the interests of the country and the people, imposes his personal views on everyone, and only listens to the words of a few close mullahs who obey him without question.

Andar emphasized that these orders are neither compatible with the conditions of the time nor capable of being implemented.

His remarks come as reports have emerged in recent months of increasing disagreements among Taliban leaders, especially in the area of political and administrative decision-making.
