Resistance Forces Warn: “We Will Not Support Atmar with Blood”.
Members of the National Resistance Front issued a strong warning to the media regarding a potential alliance between Ahmad Massoud and certain political figures they describe as “suspicious and opaque.”
They cautioned that any behind-the-scenes agreement with figures such as Hanif Atmar, without consultation with frontline fighters, could have serious consequences, potentially halting military activities inside the country.
The statement emphasized that Resistance fighters are operating under extremely difficult conditions, with minimal resources, inside enemy territory, fighting for Afghanistan’s freedom, women’s rights, and liberation from Taliban control.
They criticized political leadership for disregarding the views of operational forces and stressed that Ahmad Massoud should not engage in political negotiations with figures like Atmar against the fighters’ opinions.
Atmar was accused of political deception, transferring the conflict to the north, and indirectly strengthening the Taliban.
The Resistance members warned that if Massoud continues on this path and betrays the ideals of Ahmad Shah Massoud, he will not be forgiven by the operational forces.
