Resistance Front Reaction: Taliban Accused as Main Suspects in General Saree’s Assassination.
The head of the Political Committee of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has stated that the Taliban are the main suspects in the assassination of General Ekramuddin Saree in Tehran.
Ali Maisam Nazary described the killing as a “clear crime” and strongly condemned it, expressing deep sorrow over the death of the former security official.
He said the assassination once again demonstrates that the Taliban target anyone who stands against their oppression and authoritarianism, regardless of where they are located.
Nazary added that General Saree had spent years fighting terrorism and enemies of the Afghan people, and that his death represents a major loss for the country.
He extended condolences to Saree’s family, friends, and former comrades, calling for patience for the bereaved and divine mercy for the deceased.
He stressed that the Taliban’s objective is nothing but destruction and the spread of instability in Afghanistan, the region, and beyond, and asserted that the only path to salvation lies in resistance and the full liberation of the country from violence and tyranny.
