Seven people were killed and 10 others injured in a road accident on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in the Sayedabad district of Maidan Wardak province.
The Taliban security chief in Maidan Wardak said the incident took place in the Lori area of Sayedabad district on Friday evening.
According to the police chief, a high-speed Fielder car collided with another Luxury car, killing seven people, including three children, two women and two men, and injuring 10 others, including five children.
