Sources: Taliban Deploy Hundreds of Intelligence Forces to Badakhshan
Local sources say the Taliban have deployed hundreds of intelligence personnel to Raghistan District, Badakhshan Province, amid escalating tensions.
According to the sources, more than 70 military vehicles have been stationed in the area, while over 50 additional vehicles are moving toward Darwaz to support operations reportedly targeting Juma Khan Fateh. Mining activities in Raghistan have also been suspended, and sources describe the situation in Raghistan and Nesi districts as highly tense. Taliban officials have not commented on the reports.
