Taliban arrests former soldier and two civilians in Takhar.
Local sources in Takhar say the Taliban have arrested a former soldier and two other residents of the province, and there is no news about their fate.
According to sources, the individuals, named Lotfullah, Sayed Najman, and Sayed Hazrat, are from the village of Khpak Dara in Farkhar district and were arrested about two weeks ago.
Sayed Najman worked as a police officer during the previous government, but the other two individuals had no military background.
Sources say that efforts by local influential people to obtain information about the status of the three individuals through Taliban authorities in Taloqan have been unsuccessful.
The reason for the arrest of these individuals is still unclear. Since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, numerous cases of arbitrary arrests, torture, and even murder of citizens, especially former soldiers, have been clearly reported.
