Taliban Defense Ministry: 30 Pakistani Forces Killed in Bloody Shorabak Attack.
In continuation of the Taliban’s retaliatory operation “Red Al-Zulm”, the Taliban Defense Ministry announced that their forces attacked a large Pakistani force outpost in Shorabak district, Kandahar province, last night.
According to the ministry, the outpost was along the southern border line. It was completely captured after intense clashes.
The ministry reported that after capture, the outpost was completely destroyed using mines. No trace of the base remained. The Taliban said this attack was a strong and direct response to threats and Pakistani incursions in border areas. It was aimed at deterring the enemy and striking its support lines.
As a result of the operation, 30 Pakistani forces were killed. About 20 of them had been sent to reinforce and support the outpost. The Taliban Defense Ministry warned that any similar attempt by Pakistani forces in these areas would face harsher responses and larger-scale operations.
