Taliban delegation goes to Belarus to meet Afghan prisoners.

The Taliban embassy in Moscow has announced that a group headed by Hafiz Abdullah Yasir, the embassy’s advisor, has gone to Belarus to closely examine the situation of Afghan prisoners.

The delegation discussed legal problems and the conditions for the return of Afghan prisoners to the country during a meeting with Belarusian officials.

This trip took place while Swiss media recently reported the presence of four Taliban diplomats in Geneva.

Their main task was to identify Afghans who have been convicted of various crimes in this country.

The Swiss Migration Office has announced that the Taliban delegation was stationed at the airport and proceeded with the identification process without leaving it, and in most cases it was successful.

Despite these movements, the exact statistics of Afghan prisoners in Belarus and Switzerland have not yet been published.

The only general statistics that the Taliban have previously provided show that about 12,000 Afghan citizens are currently imprisoned in prisons in different countries around the world.
