
Taliban intelligence chief travels to Turkey for talks with Pakistan.
Mawlawi Abdul Haq Wasiq, the Taliban’s chief intelligence officer, is leaving for Turkey to participate in a new round of talks with Pakistani officials.
Sources have confirmed that these talks will begin on Thursday, November 6, 2025, between delegations from the two countries.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss important security issues and bilateral cooperation.
According to published information, Mawlawi Abdul Haq Wasiq will lead the Taliban delegation in this round of talks.
In contrast, a Pakistani delegation headed by Asim Malik, the head of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), will also attend the meeting.
The talks are a continuation of efforts to reduce tensions and strengthen security cooperation between Kabul and Islamabad.
The talks are being held at a time when relations between the two countries have faced security challenges and mutual accusations regarding the activities of armed groups in recent months.
