Taliban leader Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada has issued 20 decrees ordering religious school teachers to train students to resist ‘negative media propaganda.’
He has stressed that students must obey Taliban leaders, not speak of their faults and strictly implement the group’s curriculum.
Teachers have also been asked to teach students ethics, Sharia and Sunnah and to refrain from using mobile phones. The orders come as the number of religious schools in Afghanistan has increased
