Taliban Leader Warns of Collapse of the Emirate.

The leader of the Taliban, in speeches and statements released by the group, has repeatedly emphasized the need to prevent internal divisions and to maintain “obedience” to the leadership.

According to media reports, an audio file attributed to Hibatullah Akhundzada has emerged, in which he warns a group of senior Taliban officials about the consequences of internal disputes.

The repeated warnings suggest that Akhundzada is more concerned about internal rifts within the Taliban structure than any external pressures, with tensions particularly pronounced between the powerful factions of the group, including the Haqqani network and the Kandahari circle.

In the audio file, the Taliban leader stresses that “the Emirate will collapse and come to an end as a result of these disagreements.”

Observers say these remarks reflect deep concern within the leadership over internal competition and fragmentation among key commanders and officials.

Analysts believe that power struggles between the Kandahari faction, which controls the traditional leadership of the Taliban, and the Haqqani network, which has extensive influence over security and military institutions, have become one of the most serious internal challenges facing the group.

These tensions not only complicate decision-making but also weaken internal cohesion, heightening the leader’s fears of a potential collapse of the Emirate from within.
