Taliban to stop using Ranger vehicles.
The Taliban Ministry of Interior has announced that the group’s forces have stopped using Ranger vehicles.
Abdul Matin Qane, a spokesman for the ministry, announced the decision in a video message on the X social network on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
According to Qane, this measure was taken after a decision was made at a meeting of the Ministry of Interior leadership, and vehicles are to be replaced with vehicles that are more compatible with the geography of Afghanistan.
Taliban officials say the goal of changing the vehicles is to strengthen the forces’ ability to provide security and improve services to the people, and that new vehicles will be available to the forces in the near future.
