Taliban announce they are prepared for a surprise and bloody attack against Pakistan.
Jumahullah Mujahid, the group’s spokesperson, stated on Monday, 4 Hoot, in an interview with Taliban-controlled television, that Pakistan is engaged in destabilization projects in the region and warned, “Pakistan will once again see what the Afghans are capable of.”
He emphasized that any new intervention or provocation by Pakistan would be met with a response beyond previous operations, fully planned and coordinated.
Mujahid recalled that in previous actions, 20 Pakistani military bases were destroyed in a single day, 58 soldiers killed, and three others taken hostage and later released through Saudi mediation.
He added that any new threat would be countered with a shocking and surprise strike that would leave Pakistan stunned.
Mujahid also referred to the support of Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, head of the Pakistan Ulema Council, for Pakistani military attacks on Afghan soil, stating that some clerics have legitimized these actions, pushing the region to the brink of explosion.
He warned that the Taliban are prepared for any new provocation with a severe and fully coordinated retaliatory response, marking the region entering a highly dangerous and risky phase.
