The Turkic World Educational Cooperation Meeting was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, under the title {Current Realities and Future Prospects}.

University professors and experts in the field of education from Turkic-speaking countries participated in the meeting.

Zahid Oruç, head of the Turkish Social Research Center, said: With the “Turkish Barometer” project, the geography of the Turkic World will be comprehensively examined from a scientific perspective and a roadmap for future strategic goals will be prepared.

According to Oruç, scientific and educational cooperation between the Turkic World, the Heydar Aliyev Scholarship Program and the Turkic World Science Center at Karabakh University, and the establishment of the Turkic World Higher School of Music in Shusha are among the programs of this cooperation.

Oruç said that the European Union’s plans to divide the Turkic World in Samarkand, the homeland of Amir Timur, will fail. According to him, those who have kept the Turkmen brother behind bars in Brussels for 60 years want to turn Central Asia into the West’s backyard, not its ally.

He added that the attempt to destroy the independent Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is doomed to failure.

Meanwhile, the European Union, with its so-called “Global Gateway” project, is trying to create an alternative trade corridor to China’s Belt and Road Initiative, which has allocated a large investment in transport and trade corridors in Central Asia.

With this project, it has attracted the attention of Central Asian countries and has led to the decision of the members of the “Organization of Turkic States” to grant credentials to ambassadors to the Republic of Cyprus.
