Turkish Women’s Movement: Mullah Hanafi has no right to distribute land and relocate refugees in the Northern provinces of the country.
Turkish Women’s Movement; The Taliban have expressed concern over the relocation of returnees from Pakistan in Northern Afghanistan and called for an end to the process.
The movement said in a letter that the process of relocating migrants in Faryab, Sar-i-Pul and Jawzjan provinces is not transparent.
The women told Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Taliban’s administrative deputy prime minister, that he had no right to distribute land and relocate refugees in the Northern provinces.
The letter said the relocation of migrants should be done in consultation with local people to avoid ethnic tensions.
The settlement of Pashtun carriers in the Northern provinces by the Taliban under the name of refugees has been met with serious reactions.
