Local sources in Sar-e-Pul province report that a Taliban army member named Sharafuddin was killed by unknown gunmen in the Sazma Qala district. The incident occurred on Friday, November 21, 2025, in the village of Malik. Sharafuddin served in the Taliban army’s operations battalion in Sar-e-Pul.
Meanwhile, local sources in the newly established Khair district of Faryab province reported that a young man named Ali Mohammad was shot and killed by unknown armed individuals on Friday evening in the village of Khushbai.
According to sources, the motives and perpetrators of these two incidents remain unclear, and the Taliban have not issued any statements regarding the events.
