WHO: Returnees from Pakistan need health assistance

The World Health Organization has announced that since April, nearly 100,000 Afghan refugees have been deported from Pakistan and are in urgent need of health support.

According to the report, most of these people are women and children and are facing problems such as respiratory diseases, malnutrition, physical injuries and mental disorders.

The World Health Organization has warned that this trend has worsened the public health crisis in Afghanistan.

In April alone, more than 5,000 people received services at Torkham Hospital. Also, dozens of women have given birth in temporary camps in the area.
