His high military skills, extensive connections to international terrorist networks and his direct role in planning complex attacks have made his presence in Takhar a serious threat to regional security.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Security analysts warn that the recent ISIS movements may signal the beginning of a new phase of the group\u2019s cross-border operations from Afghanistan\u2014a country that has become a virtual safe haven for terrorist activities since the Taliban took over.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Given Takhar\u2019s proximity to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and other Central Asian countries, the presence of key ISIS figures in the province could have serious security implications for the entire region.
