Taliban intelligence chief killed in Kunar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Qari Shabir Ahmad, the Taliban’s intelligence director for Shigal district of Kunar province, was killed in a targeted operation, the Afghan National Basij Front’s media office said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a native of Ghaziabad and was known as the number one Taliban figure in the district.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sources say the operation was carried out after public complaints and careful planning by the fighters and was carried out on Friday evening, September 12, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Qari Shabir Ahmad had in the past dragged out a large number of former security forces from their homes and killed them.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Taliban have suffered heavy blows from the opposition in recent weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n
