Local sources in Paktia province say that a young man named Abdul Matin, a social activist from Kariz village, Sayed Karam district, was killed mysteriously after being tortured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to sources, he left his house on the evening of Monday, September 16, after receiving a phone call, and the next morning his body with severe signs of torture on his body was found in front of a ruined building near his house in Gardez city.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abdul Mateen’s family said he had no personal enmity or problem with any individual or group, and the motive for the murder is unclear to them.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the incident, and no official investigation has been launched.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The incident comes as mysterious murders and kidnappings have increased in recent days in Paktia and several other provinces, raising serious concerns among citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n
