Reliable sources say that the meeting of Afghan political groups will finally be held in Islamabad on September 29 and 30 after several postponements.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the participants, who arrived in Islamabad on Sunday (September 28, 2025), confirmed this in an interview with the media.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting is being held at the initiative of the \u201cSouth Asia Strategic Stability Institute\u201d and in cooperation with the \u201cWomen for Afghanistan\u201d organization. Its aim is to strengthen trust between Afghan leaders and Pakistani counterparts, increase regional cooperation, and emphasize women\u2019s participation in the future of Afghanistan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The main topics will include reviewing the political situation in the country after the return of the Taliban, human rights violations, and increasing restrictions on women and girls.<\/strong><\/p>\n

However, reliable sources have confirmed that Zahra Kazmi, the head of the Women\u2019s Committee of the Resistance Front, was unable to obtain a Pakistani visa due to problems with her travel documents and was unable to attend the Islamabad meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She was supposed to attend the meeting on behalf of the Resistance Front, but her absence has created a significant void in the representation of women opposing the Taliban.<\/strong><\/p>\n
