27 killed and injured in Pakistani airstrike on Paktika; cricket players among victims.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reliable sources in Paktika province have confirmed that at least 27 people have been killed and injured following airstrikes by Pakistani forces on parts of the province on Friday evening.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to these sources, these attacks targeted the Argoon and Barmal districts, resulting in 12 \u201cmartyrs\u201d and 15 others injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sources added that women and children were also among the victims of these attacks. In addition, reports indicate that a number of members of the Afghanistan Cricket Board are also among the dead.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Local sources confirm that eight cricket players were killed and four others were injured in these attacks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to sources, these players were on their way back to Argoon district after finishing a local tournament in the center of Paktika when they were targeted by the airstrike.<\/strong><\/p>\n
