Armed robbers steal nearly a kilo of gold in Sar-e-Pul.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Local sources in Sar-e-Pul province say armed robbers attacked a gold shop in the center of the province on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to sources, the incident occurred at around 1:15 pm and the armed attackers took a large amount of gold with them after entering the shop of a gold shopkeeper named Mohammad Naeem Amiri.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to reports, during the attack, Mohammad Naeem Amiri\u2019s brother was shot by the attackers and injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He is currently undergoing surgery in the hospital. Sources say the amount of gold stolen was nearly a kilo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Taliban officials have not yet reacted to this.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This incident comes at a time when, despite the Taliban’s claims of providing nationwide security, there are reports of increased incidents of theft, murder and insecurity in the northern provinces, including Sar-e-Pul and Jawzjan.<\/strong><\/p>\n
