Amid rising tensions and border clashes between the Afghan Taliban and the Pakistani army, Pakistani users have launched a campaign on social media in support of their country\u2019s army.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this campaign, many users, activists and media figures have accused the Afghan Taliban of disloyalty and ingratitude using the hashtag \u201cNamak Haram\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This hashtag has been shared thousands of times on platforms such as X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok in the past two weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the same time, Pakistani singer Babar Khan Khattak released a song titled \u201cNamak Haram\u201d on YouTube on October 15, which quickly went viral on social media.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The song was released five days after Taliban forces attacked Pakistani border posts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The song’s video features images of Taliban leaders, including Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Taliban’s foreign minister, and its theme refers to “forgetting Pakistan’s past aid to the Taliban.”<\/strong><\/p>\n
