Attack on Afghan activist in Germany; Concerns about Taliban access to refugee information.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After the German government handed over the Afghan consulates in Bonn and Munich to Taliban representatives, a section of the Afghan refugee community has expressed concerns about the security of information of refugees and civil society activists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These concerns are especially raised among people whose identity documents and files were previously registered at these diplomatic centers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the same controversial atmosphere, there have been reports of an attack on Afghan lawyer and human rights activist Hussaina Kohestani.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to sources close to women’s rights activists, she was attacked by unidentified men at her private home in Germany at around 1:30 am last night and is currently in critical condition.<\/strong><\/p>\n
