Afghanistan Freedom Front claimed responsibility for the Surobi attack.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Afghanistan Freedom Front has claimed responsibility for the attack on a Taliban checkpoint in Surobi district of Kabul province.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The group says the attack took place on Saturday evening, November 1, 2025, at around 06:45 near the Taliban security headquarters on the Kabul-Jalalabad highway.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Afghanistan Freedom Front \u00a0statement, one Taliban member was killed and another was wounded in the attack, which was carried out by the Front\u2019s eastern zone operations unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The group claims that the operation was carried out by \u201cthe Front\u2019s guerrillas.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

This incident comes as targeted attacks against the Taliban have increased in various parts of the country in recent weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n
