The Presidency of Tajikistan announced that over the past week, two separate incidents of shooting from Afghan territory into Tajikistan resulted in five people killed and five others wounded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

President Emomali Rahmon described the incidents as \u201cillegal and provocative\u201d during a special security meeting and instructed relevant agencies to take effective measures to prevent a recurrence. No details were provided regarding the identities of the victims or the exact timing of the attacks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Previously, the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that three Chinese company workers were killed in the Khatlon region during an armed and drone attack originating from Afghanistan.
