Khalilyar, a renowned and influential personality in Afghanistan\u2019s cultural and media circles and a pioneer of the country\u2019s press, died in Kabul at the age of 86. He had undergone heart surgery in a Kabul hospital, but due to the inadequacy of the country\u2019s healthcare system, he fell into a coma after a subsequent procedure and never regained consciousness.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amanullah Khalilyar belonged to a generation of dedicated and enlightened intellectuals who devoted their productive lives to serving the culture, language, and media of Afghanistan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Known for his humble demeanor and exemplary ethics, he held a special place among cultural figures, media professionals, and the Uzbek-speaking community of Afghanistan, and was recognized as a hardworking, disciplined, and compassionate personality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Throughout his career, Khalilyar held several key positions, including Director of \u201cSedaye Hamwatan\u201d at the National Radio and Television, provincial director, head of various broadcasting departments, and Director of Television Ayna.
