Exhumation and Shooting of Resistance Commander\u2019s Body in Baghlan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Local sources in Baghlan Province reported that Taliban fighters exhumed the body of a commander belonging to an anti\u2011Taliban resistance group and shot at his corpse after it had been buried.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to these sources, the incident occurred on Monday, 5 January 2026, in Nahrin District.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The deceased was a commander of the resistance who had died several days earlier in the mountainous area of the district and was buried by his companions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sources indicate that the commander had left the area approximately 12 days prior following an armed clash with the Taliban, and later died under circumstances described as a \u201cmysterious incident.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

After his burial, Taliban fighters dug up his grave and fired shots at his lifeless body.<\/strong><\/p>\n
