Local sources in Kabul City reported that on Monday, 5 January 2026, at approximately 9:45 a.m. local time, a young woman was shot in front of the Taliban-controlled Ministry of Finance building, near the former Presidential Palace (Arg).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The incident created a tense atmosphere in the surrounding area.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eyewitnesses said a young man fired multiple shots at the woman before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition and reportedly remains in a coma.<\/strong><\/p>\n
