Rahmatullah Nabil, former head of Afghanistan\u2019s National Security Directorate, has warned in an analytical note about the significantly increasing likelihood of a U.S. military action against the Islamic Republic of Iran.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to him, the current environment in U.S. and regional media, along with statements by American politicians, indicates that a military confrontation scenario has become more serious than ever and should not be considered merely a political threat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nabil stressed that delays in military action do not indicate a retreat by Washington, but may instead signal preparations for a larger and heavier operation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He added that this pressure aims to compel Iranian leaders to fundamentally revise their political and security calculations, especially regarding regional developments, Israel, and U.S. interests.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Nabil, there are simultaneous reports of redeployment and reduction of U.S. military presence in Iraq and Qatar, possibly as part of a prelude to a potential action.<\/strong><\/p>\n
