Sharp Criticism by Women\u2019s Council of the Resistance Front Against Taliban\u2019s \u201cSlave-Like\u201d View.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zahra Kazemi, head of the Women\u2019s Council of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, harshly criticized the Taliban\u2019s \u201ccode of conduct\u201d and ideological framework, stating that the document is not only incompatible with Islamic law but reduces Afghan citizens from the status of entitled human beings to individuals devoid of will and under absolute power a form of modern slavery.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She said the Taliban present themselves as moral and religious saviors, assigning no role to people other than obedience.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Citing Quranic concepts, Kazemi emphasized that in Islam, humans as Khalifa-Allah possess inherent dignity and the right to choose, and no group or individual has absolute guardianship over society.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She added that the Taliban\u2019s division of people into \u201cobedient and sinful\u201d or \u201cworthy and unworthy\u201d represents an ideological and non-religious interpretation of Sharia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kazemi referenced a Taliban commander who called Afghan citizens \u201csheep\u201d and the Taliban \u201ctheir shepherds,\u201d describing it as a derogatory and domination-based view of society.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She stated that the Taliban\u2019s policies toward women and minorities continue this mindset, denying education, work, and civil liberties, thereby reproducing a modern slavery structure. According to her, while Muhammadan Sharia is based on rationality, mercy, and social justice, the Taliban use religion instrumentally to justify violence and monopolize power.<\/strong><\/p>\n
