Khamenei Warns the United States.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As tensions between Iran and the United States approach their highest level, Iran\u2019s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, warned on Sunday, 01 February 2026, that any military action by Washington against Tehran would not only drag Iran but the entire region into war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Referring to the large-scale deployment of U.S. military equipment to the Persian Gulf, Khamenei said, \u201cThe Iranian nation should not be intimidated by such things,\u201d and emphasized that Iran would deliver an immediate and crushing response to any aggression.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Iran\u2019s leader stated clearly that his country would not initiate a war, but in response to any threat or attack, Iran\u2019s military would strike the enemy with decisive force.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said, \u201cWe are not the initiators, but the Iranian nation will deliver a heavy punch to anyone who attacks or harasses it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

These remarks were made as U.S. President Donald Trump announced the deployment of a large military fleet to the region and warned that military options remain on the table.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the same time, the Secretary of Iran\u2019s Supreme National Security Council reported \u201cprogress in ongoing negotiations,\u201d but provided no further details.<\/strong><\/p>\n
