Marshal Dostum: Governments Built on Corruption and Discrimination Do Not Last.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum, a prominent Afghan political leader, met and held discussions at his residence in Ankara with a number of participants attending the memorial ceremony of Khwaja Taj Mohammad, a former Afghan pilot.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to his remarks during the meeting, the Taliban government was accused of corruption, discrimination, oppression of the people, and pursuing unjust policies. Marshal Dostum stated that governments operating on the basis of corruption and discrimination inevitably pave the way for their own destruction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the meeting, which was also attended by several members of civil society organizations, he strongly criticized the Taliban\u2019s current policies and performance and recalled the group\u2019s past approaches toward the population.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Referring to his four decades of political experience, he said that any government that fails to prioritize public welfare and becomes engulfed in corruption will ultimately face collapse.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting also referenced the period of governance by the Junbish Party, noting that at the time, relative public comfort was ensured in Turkestan provinces, girls\u2019 schools remained open, and conditions for a comparatively free life were available.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
