Hundreds of former officers and soldiers of the Afghan National Army in Tehran report that their residency renewal process has been halted due to the non-approval of \u201cCode 13,\u201d leaving their future in complete uncertainty.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They state that over nearly three months, they have repeatedly visited sponsorship offices without receiving clear responses and now face serious risk of forced deportation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to these military personnel, following the assassination of General Akramuddin Sarir, identity verification cases for soldiers were effectively left unresolved. They claim that the registration and approval process has never been transparent and has been subject to political and personal influence, resulting in many legitimate soldiers being excluded from the approved lists victims of systemic injustice.<\/strong><\/p>\n
