Death of Ayoub Salangi\u2019s Daughter on International Women\u2019s Day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ayoub Salangi, former Deputy Minister of Interior of Afghanistan, announced the death of his daughter \u201cNeda\u201d at the same time as 8 March 2026, International Women\u2019s Day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mr. Salangi said in a message that his daughter passed away after suffering from cancer while living in exile and far from her homeland. He described the illness as \u201cabsurd and deadly\u201d and said that the loss of his daughter has left deep sorrow for his family.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the message, Salangi congratulated International Women\u2019s Day to women, mothers, and sisters of Afghanistan and across the world, and offered condolences for the death of his daughter to his wife, his other daughters, family members, and relatives.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He also emphasized that this tragedy occurred during migration and far from their country, a circumstance that has doubled the pain and grief for his family.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the same time as 8 March 2026, several Afghan women\u2019s protest movements also published messages and videos criticizing the Taliban\u2019s policies toward women.<\/strong><\/p>\n
