Women\u2019s Anger Over New Taliban Decision; Women Barred from Entering Gul-e Arghavan Hill.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Local sources in Parwan province have reported that Taliban forces today prevented women from entering Gul-e Arghavan Hill.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gul-e Arghavan Hill is considered one of the natural and recreational sites of the province, which every year, with the arrival of spring and the month of Hamal (March 21 \u2013 April 20), hosts families and citizens who travel to the area for leisure and recreation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to witnesses, this action has been met with reactions from a number of citizens, especially women.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A woman who was prevented from entering the area told local sources that the existing restrictions have made life difficult for women and have stripped the country\u2019s public space of joy and vitality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some other citizens have also expressed dissatisfaction with the increase in social restrictions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the same time, a number of informed observers and residents of the country say that the continuation of such restrictions has negatively affected the psychological and social condition of the people and has made the future uncertain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They believe that the reduction of recreational and social opportunities has increased public dissatisfaction, and that there is a need to reconsider social policies in order to improve the living conditions of citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n
