Armed Kuchis Launch Violent Attack in Bamyan; Punjab District Gripped by Fear.<\/strong><\/p>\n Local sources in Bamyan Province say armed Kuchi nomads attacked the village of Tobak in the Poshta Gharghari area of Punjab District on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 , brutally beating three local farmers.<\/strong><\/p>\n According to the sources, the incident occurred after local residents attempted to prevent Kuchi livestock from entering their agricultural fields. The farmers were reportedly beaten “to the brink of death” by the armed attackers.<\/strong><\/p>\n The injured farmers, identified as Mohammad Hussain, Jafar, and Ali Dad, were transferred to the Punjab District Hospital for medical treatment. Sources say two of the victims are in relatively stable condition, while the third remains in critical condition.<\/strong><\/p>\n Images released following the incident reportedly show severe injuries, extensive bruising, and clear signs of extreme physical violence on the victims’ bodies.<\/strong><\/p>\n The sources also claim that after the assault, the armed Kuchis raided villagers’ homes, opened fire on residential houses, and spread fear throughout the area. As a result, several families were reportedly forced to flee their homes.<\/strong><\/p>\n The attack comes just ten days after another reported assault by armed Kuchis on the village of Zarsang in Punjab District, where five local residents were injured.
